Here's the original invoice for the kit from 1994, I'm guessing they didn't sell too many of these, from memory the Hosemaster system was even more expensive
Lightbrush 300
Adventures in Light painting using the Lightbrush 300. This too, equivalent to the hosemaster system invented by Aaron Jones. This blog follows my initial purchase from ebay to getting the system fully up and working again and it's use. We'll also look at ways of upgrading the now obsolete gemini 300 bulbs and possible replacing these altogether

Documentation
The kit came with a fair bit of documentation from the original sales brochure right through to the invoice (which makes for scary reading).

A bit of background
It's been a long time since I finished my academic studies, if you can can call it academic. I studied photography many years ago and worked for some time as a food photographer. I was always interested in the new lighting techniques that appeared, in particular light painting. One of my tutors was Paul Wenham Clarke who did a lot of light painting at the time and won numerous awards for his work, Aaron Jones was also very active and marketed his Hosemaster system.
I'd had a few goes with Pauls lightbrush and seen him using it on several shoots so when I happened to be browsing Ebay one day I was amazed to see a full kit up for sale. I put in a very cheeky offer and the guy accepted. 3 days later the kit arrived in a very large box containing the following:
Looking good I thought so further inspection revealled the following parts
This appears to be pretty much the full kit of parts that the company made, given that the company no longer exists this is a good thing!
Given that there's virtually no information on these systems I thought I would start this blog as no doubt other people have heard of these before
